The program provides comprehensive measurements of PM2.5 mass, chemical speciation and gaseous precursors at monitoring sites located in the new York city (NYC) and at regional representative locations in upstate NY (see site map). The sites will have advanced instrumentation, complimentary to EPA mandated measurements, to enhance the chemical and temporal specificity of the PM2.5/co-pollutant complex in the selected areas.
